Once Again, Lebanon’s Streets Are Covered In Trash

Lebanon’s trash crisis has made a comeback after being somewhat dormant for the past 5 years. Due to the worsening fuel crisis, Beirut’s waste management company RAMCO is struggling to secure fuel for its garbage trucks.

Garbage is flooding the streets of Lebanon once again, especially around the Hamra area.

As though the crisis-hit nation did not have enough on its plate, Lebanon must now worry about an additional garbage crisis that is putting people’s health and the environment at risk. Citizens’ health and safety have been completely compromised amidst the country’s freefall.
