“That Breath We Held”, Finally Exhaled at Monnot Theatre

After being postponed due to COVID-19 lockdowns, “That Breath We Held”, a performance directed by Alaa Minawi in collaboration with pianist Vladimir Kurumilian and illustrator Ahmed Amer, will see the light at Monnot Theatre in Beirut across four consecutive days from Thursday October 7 till Sunday October 10.

This interactive theatre piece sponsored by WHISPERS- HAMASAT and Studio Laban reflects on the collective trauma created by the August 4 Beirut explosion and its impact through addressing one question: “How can we breathe out again?”

Doors open at 8:00 PM and the performance starts at 8:30 PM. If you wish to attend this performance, you can reserve your free seat at Antoine Bookstore either online or at any of the store branches.
