At a gorgeous new venue in Minet el Hosn, Downtown Beirut sits Ai a new Asian and sushi restaurant and lounge.

Patrons will be able to people watch (you’ll see most of your Instagram list arriving in no time) while listening to some pretty great tunes from the DJ on deck.

The decor is impeccable, with beautiful wooden interiors and an upstairs lounge area that will give you a little more privacy should you want it.

As for the food, the menu consists of some delicious items like a crispy duck salad, yummy dim sum, and a limited number of maki rolls that are truly delicious.

For dessert, don’t miss out on the massive chocolate covered fortune cookie, a treat for the eyes and mouth.

The restaurant operates more like a lounge, with delicious cocktails (be sure to try their sake martini) and loud music playing as the hours tick on.

Fresh ingredients, excellent vibes, and an amazing mixologist make this spot a splurge, but one that may just be worth it.

As for the prices, they reflect the quality and freshness of the sushi but again are definitely a splurge if you go all out and order to your heart’s content.
