Elie Ferzli Convoy Barrels Through Protestors Near Parliament

This morning, and ahead of a parliamentary session, protestors blocked roads leading to Nejme Square and around Bab Idriss.

This was done in rejection of the proposed capital control law which is set to be voted on during today’s parliamentary session.

This is not the first time our politicians choose to drive through citizens. Back in November of 2019, Ali Hassan Khalil’s convoy shot at and ran over protestors.
