The Moon, The Neighbors and Us

The Kahraba collective invites you to the Vendôme stairs in Mar Mikhael, for 3 evenings of poetry and puppet performances, with musicians, singers, painters and artists of different sorts, as well as the owner of the drugstore on the corner, the upstairs neighbor, the family across the street and children from everywhere.

This street event is an experience in creating a touring theater for people everywhere. It will give audiences a chance to discover or rediscover the puppets and shadow silhouettes of the shows by the Kahraba collective and will also introduce new artists to each other and discover curious locations around the neighborhood. Puppet interventions, intermissions and other surprises will take you on a rooftop, inside a hidden garden, in someone’s house, on the steps, and into other random places.
