C U NXT SAT 03.03: Youmna Saba in concert

Youmna Saba in concert with the genius Fadi Tabbal on guitars, and the very talented Hadi Deaibess on percussion, to add extra value to the music in this event.

Youmna Saba is a Lebanese singer-songwriter. Highly inspired by everyday situations she encounters, Youmna uses the Arabic-Lebanese colloquial to express whatever comes to her mind, whether consciously or not. Along with Fadi “Fe” Tabbal, she has been experimenting with all sorts of soundemitting objects (real instruments played in a typical manner, real instruments played in an atypical manner, instruments pretending to be real, toy instruments,…) to create an accompaniment to her melodies. She has released an EP entitled “Min Aafesh el Beit”, in December 2008, consisting of her original compositions, recorded, mixed and arranged by Fadi “Fe” Tabbal, at Tunefork Recording Studios, Beirut, Lebanon.

The concert will be followed by Jade Followed and Trix kicking the tunes you always looked forward to dance to.
