Tucked away at the far end of Beirut’s Gemayzeh quarter, Mayrig is a restaurant that adapts the popular classics of Armenian cuisine, while generously borrowing from Lebanese and other Mediterranean influences, in order to feast guests on a dazzling array of flavors.

With supreme dishes like fishna keufteh, or kibbeh balls stuffed with sour cherry coulis resting on a bed of plain yogurt, as well as the savory mante—try the spinach edition—you’ll simply delight your stomach.

Don’t pass up the dried apricots stuffed with ashta for the sweet ending.

the best Armenian restaurant in town for sure. Their meat and cherries dish is highly recommended. Be careful and try not to order too many dishes no matter how tempted, their cuisine is known to be a bit heavy!
