Red Bull King of the Rock

Join Red Bull King of the Rock and show off your basketball skills. The event is open for beginners and pros.

Local basketball players will battle it out at the first one – on – one Basketball competition in Lebanon, using a single elimination tournament bracket. In other words, it’s win or go home. The rules and scoring system are no different, shots will count as 2 or 3 points and five fouls get you out of the game. The players will engage in half-court games. All winners immediately proceed onto the next game to face another player. This is the time for players to bring their A-game and full stamina to have the chance to be named Red Bull King of the Rock.

Qualifiers details:

-August 10 at Free courts Jisr El-Wateh
-August 11 at Hoops Antelias
-August 17 at Mocean Kaslik
-August 18 at Park Skaff Zahle

Registration is on the day between 12:00 p.m. and 15:00 p.m. and games start at 16:00 p.m.
Only the first 64 players that show up will be taken on 1st come – 1st serve basis so make sure you head down early to secure a spot on the roster.

The top four players from each qualifier will make it to the final which will take place at Byblos Port on August 25, 2012.

The winner in Byblos will represent Lebanon at the World Finals in San Francisco, USA.
