May Chidiac

Over the last 25 years as a Lebanese journalist, May Chidiac has broken barriers of tradition and gender inequalities. Starting at a young age, when all the odds were against her, Chidiac distinguished herself as a critical journalist in a war-torn country.

Chidiac started her career as a radio news broadcaster at the Voice of Lebanon radio station, and used this platform to launch her television career as a news anchor and war correspondent at the LBC (Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation). During this time, she reported fearlessly from the frontlines of the civil war in Lebanon, and made a name for herself among the elite Lebanese journalist community.
