Shibori | Japanese Tie and Clamp Dye with Indigo Dye Workshop

As part of the month Textile Workshops with Denise Maroney, the first workshop will deal with Shibori. Shibori is a traditional Japanese technique of using dye to create intricate patterns on textile. Class begins with an in depth study of indigo dye and explains techniques of shibori. Then, you’ll get to experiment with creating your own shibori dyed garments.
