For the Love of Jazz Workshop at Robert Mouawad Private Museum

Another music workshop by Akram Najjar: with less theory and analysis but more background, videos and variety. This workshop is meant for people who find Jazz inaccessible, noisy and cacophonic. Yet they love music. So why do they find Jazz such an impasse? Jazz is easy to love if you grow into it, school by school, era by era.

One day, you will wake up and find it has become obsessive. Jazz is about performers and song writers. In its brief life of 100 years or so, Jazz was well documented on film. A video tour with clips of the giant figures of Jazz will be featured during this great workshop by Najjar.
