Silk Thread at Zico House

As part of the Minassa theatrical platform, Zico House will be hosting a performance of the play “Silk Thread” by the Zoukak company. The play will be performed on October 19 and October 20.

Synopsis: Using local mythologies, fairy tales, modern legends and actual events, ‘Silk Thread’ explores notions of gender through a cultural constructivist lens. The performance blurs the lines between reality and imagination as the players create a ‘site’ and invite the audience to travel with them playfully questioning the certainties of stereotypes.
