Metropolis Cinema will be screening the Guatemalan documentary "La Palabra Maya" as part of the Festival of Ibero-American Cinema.
Synopsis: Everyone talks about the Mayan prophecy of 2012, but who is listening to the Mayas? This innovative documentary brings us to the voices of the Mayan people, who share with us their vision of the prophecies of their ancestors and their struggle to defend Mother Earth from its culture of destruction.
