Burros Screening at Metropolis Cinema

As part of the Ibero-American film festival, the movie “Burros” by Odín Salazar Flores will be screened at Metropolis Cinema.

Synopsis: ‘Burros’ (Donkeys) is the story of Lautaro, a ten year old kid who lives in the so called Tierra Caliente in the state of Guerrero in the 40’s. When his father is murdered, he is sent to live with his aunt Emma in a town 60 km away from his home. Lautaro makes a decision to run away back home. During his long journey, he comes across many people, living and dead that help him get back home.
