Ashes Exhibition at Artlab Gallery

Artlab Gallery is proud to present its first solo exhibition by Guilain Safadi, entitled “Ashes”. The works presented in “Ashes” are the most recent outcomes of what the artist has been experiencing since the beginning of the Syrian revolution.

In this collection, Guilain paints the reflections of his current condition in black and white. The artists describes that he decided to name this exhibition “Ashes” because he always paints his memories with their pictures, people, stories and symbols after they have been burnt through time and have become ashes.
