Citizens Rally For The Disappeared

On November 17, anniversary date of the first gathering of the families of the disappeared in Lebanon, Act for the Disappeared and the Committee for the relatives of the missing and disappeared call on all citizens to gather at the Beirut National Museum and from then on, go on a bus tour to three sites of mass graves that were specified by the Lebanese state in 2000 and end at the tent of the Disappeared, in front of the UN House, in Downtown.

Initiated in 2010, Act for the Disappeared is a Lebanese Human Rights association whose mission is to promote the right to know the fate of the thousands of persons who disappeared in Lebanon and support a meaningful and sustainable solution to the issue. It aims to increase knowledge, with a focus on the youth, to communicate on the solutions that exist and to engage actively the society to support the cause
