Biloba Screening at Metropolis Cinema

As part of the 19th European Film Festival, the movie “Biloba” by Sofia Papachristou will be screened at Metropolis Cinema.

Synopsis: Peter, an engineer employed by a multinational company whose commitment to the environment is dubious at best, agrees to supervise the construction of a high-technology waste recycling plant on an island in the Aegean Sea. He soon discovers that the conditions on the island are far from what expected. Peter finds himself faced witha moral dilemma: let the multinational company use the plant as a cover for dumping toxic substances, or save the Island.
