Studio 68 is hosting its first creative writing workshop for children with Charbel Naim. The workshop will encourage kids between 7 and 14 to write their own stories, explore new potentials and fulfill their inherent need to express themselves in words, allowing them to be who they want to be, go where they want to go and walk in someone else’s shoes.
Throughout a series of writing prompts, storytelling, lively class discussions, games and exercises, the workshop will show children how to: describe scenes and people using all five senses, as well as similes and metaphors, create and explore characters and their motivation, plot a story incorporating dramatic opposition and conflict resolution, stimulate their imagination, and find their own voices.
Deadline for registration is February 7. To register, please call 03.466.764 or send an email to vapaorg@gmail.com
