Calling All Nominations for the Beirut Social Media Awards 2013

Is your blog worthy of recognition? If the answer is a resounding “YES”, then it looks like you should be nominating yourself for the 2013 Beirut Social Media Awards.

Hosted by the Online Collaborative—self-described home of social media and internet enthusiasts—The Social Media Awards will, quote on quote, “allow the Lebanese online community to nominate, vote for and award the bloggers, journalists, content creators, community managers, public personas, users of social media and celebrities for their efforts in communication and online creation.”

With 33 categories and a promised award ceremony with all the glamour of the Oscars, the Social Media Awards look like they’re on their way to becoming a yearly tradition, and a much coveted prize. Staying true to the transparency of online mediums, winners will be selected via a public vote and will be given their prizes at a ceremony in front of over 750 invitees from digital agencies.

So go ahead and nominate your friends, peers, family members or followers, because it looks like the competition will be pretty insane this year.

Good luck to all my fellow tweeps, facebookers, and bloggers, and may the internets forever be in your favor.
