Synopsis: “Krapp’s Last Tape” is a short play written by Samuel Beckett in 1958 about a writer who has recorded his thought and views of his life on audio tape every year since he was twenty four. He has stored and numbered each tape and keeps them locked in a desk at home.

As Krapp listens to past recordings, we can learn about different events that have happened in Krapp’s past which might give us an understanding about how he was. Krapp himself can see how he has changed through the ages and what kind of a man he has become.
