Batucada and Samba Rhythms Workshop at Bach Institute of Music

Segundo Bloco, in collaboration with Passos Alegres, will be hosting a series of workshops with Pé de Pano from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the Bach Institute of Music. Celso Tavares, a.k.a Pé de Pano, plays with the Samba school “Imperio da Tijuca”. The group was crowned champions of Series A during this year’s carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Pé de Pano will be holding a workshop on Brazilian batucada, substyle of samba. Join him to learn all there is to learn about this exciting dance.
