Visualising Syria Workshop at AltCity

Dawlaty, a Syrian initiative advocating the Syrian cause using creative tools in cooperation with AltCity, a social impact collaboration space, is launching the “Visualizing Syria” workshop series.

This workshop (data visualization and information design), consisting of four sessions, will result in 10-15 infographics highlighting the situation in Syria with focus on: the humanitarian situation (refugees and displacement), infrastructure destruction, and death toll and the human costs in general.

These infographics will be published on the Dawlaty website and circulated through social media. All research, artistic productions and designs resulting from the workshops will be under a Creative Commons License.

Apply if you are either a designer and/or artist with an interest in the Syrian Situation or a civil society activist with some knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
