The Crafts Master Tour in Bourj Hammoud

As part of the Beirut Design Week 2013, a crafts master tour will be taking place in Bourj Hammoud with Angelique from Tasche Bags.

Lebanon is renowned for its skillfulness in the industrial and creative fields. There are numerous industrial districts located in different parts of the country where the majority of the factories and workshops vend to local, regional and international markets. Bourj Hammoud is one of the cities where one of the largest clusters of factories, suppliers and artisans can be found.

Setting up the Tasché atelier in Bourj Hammoud back in 2009 enabled Angelique to explore and locate several vendors and establishments and she would love to share her professional knowledge with those who are already in the design/industrial sector as well as those who are planning to set up their own creative label.

The guided tour will allow participants to discover the different accessory suppliers, manufacturers and tanneries located in Bourj Hammoud, with the aim of introducing the different products and services each of them provide.
