The Art of Composition Workshop at Cafe Younes

Join Cafe Younes as it hosts a photography workshop by Marc Nader. This workshop is intended for beginner and intermediate photographers, as well as advanced and professional photographers who, in spite of their technical proficiency, feel the need to perfect their skills, knowing that composition, which has nothing to do whatsoever with technique or quality of equipment used, is the foundation of superlative photography.

Participants will learn the art of managing and putting together the various components of an image – i.e. foreground, background, textures, shapes, lines (real and virtual), patterns, colors, shadows, and highlights, to name only a few – which should all interact in perfect harmony and, therefore, contribute to leading the viewer’s eye to the essence of the image’s main subject.

The number of participants will be limited to six, allowing for optimal follow-up and guidance of each individual participant according to his/her own level and needs.
