In Vino Veritas – Wine and Philosophy Night at Espana Tapas Bar

With a glass of wine in one hand, philosophy professor and amateur winemaker Frank Darwiche will be the sommelier of the night, both for wine and for ideas.

Philosophy is not the dry subject some dread at school, it is a living and lively matter, a topic of everyday concern, a reflection on everyday life on the time that passes, on the meaning of life.

It is also an evening of and about wine. Darwiche is an oenologist, and will take participants on a wine journey from Bacchus and Dionysus to the new, small boutique wineries of Lebanon.
