Registration for Decorative Metal Piercing Workshop

From Nov 27 to Dec 2, 2013
10:00am -> 8:00pm
Ranawiyet

This is an introductory workshop to metal work. It is the perfect start for any aspiring jewelry-maker or designer.

In this workshop, you will select decorative patterns and implement them in hand-pierced designs on brass or copper, which will ultimately become pieces of jewelry of your choice: pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets, cuffs, head piece, key rings, charms etc. or any home/other decorative items.

You will learn how to use a jeweler’s hand saw, cut, file, sand and finish your pieces until they’re ready to be used right out of class. Providing individual instruction during the class is very important, so the class will contain a maximum of four people.

In order to secure your place in this workshop, a deposit must be made upon registration by Tuesday, December 2. Failing to do so, a place can not be reserved for you regardless of availability.

Cost: $300
For the whole workshop, including absolutely everything you need for the classes and the use of the studio tools and materials, in addition to snack/drink breaks.

Classes will take place every Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on the following days: December 6, December 13, December 20, December 27, and January 3, 2014.
