‘I Am Not A Tourist’ Winter Clothing Drive

“I Am Not A Tourist” is an initiative to collect winter clothing for Syrian refugees of all ages in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon.

– Mohamad, 20, was asked what he wanted for his birthday this year. His answer was: A blanket for my sister.
– Zahra’s bones can’t withstand the temperature any longer. With such basic shelter, she might not make it.
– Ali, a 13-year-old kid whose only happiness comes from playing football, needs shoes. Yes, he has no shoes.
– Zeinab, 20, is now the guardian angel of her four brothers and three nieces who lost their parents.

Take part in this initiative to help them his Saturday at BIEL (downtown area – “Beirut By Bike” arena) from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., come and drop off your bags of extra clothes. It might seem like a small gesture to you, but it means so much to the people you will help keep warm this winter.

Even if you have just one item to give away, it’s enough. Anything is enough, just come and contribute.
