Jammit the Band ‘Reggae for Lincoln’ Single Launch at Radio Beirut

Radio Beirut presents Jammit the Band, a sincere musical vibe of world music, reggae and ska; an Oriental, Mediterranean soul influenced by the African-Jamaican and blues rhythms.

After a packed night at their Radio Beirut gig in February, Jammit The Band returns with good vibes for the launch of their debut single, “Reggae for Lincoln.”

Inspired by Ibrahim Lincoln’s speech on November 19, 1863, this original song by Jammit the Band embodies some of the greatest words spoken to mankind about liberty and freedom, bringing to light social and individual justice, safety and liberty, still influential today. Though written more than 200 years ago, it remains a great melody, incorruptible and undefined.
