Attend a Master Class with Cie Russel Maliphant at Al Madina Theatre as part the BIPOD 2014 festival.

Russell Maliphant Company master class led by Adam Kirkham and Carys Staton. Maliphant’s work is characterized by a unique approach to flow and energy and a focus on the relationship between movement, light and music. Improvisational tasks will be used to explore and highlight choreographic dynamics and diversity, encouraging and deepening awareness of structure through solo and duet movement material. The diverse background of the company means that the workshop incorporates an extensive range of disciplines from classical ballet, contact improvisation and yoga to capoeira, tai chi and the martial arts.
