Join Plein Air #1 Domestic Work, Labour And Art at Migrant Community Center MCC.

This event brings together artists, activists, academics and domestic workers to discuss the value and visibility of domestic work, the situation of migrant domestic workers in Lebanon and intersections of art and cultural and domestic work.

Contributors Include:
– Houda Kassatly: Photographer, anthropologist, activist and associate researcher at the interdisciplinary research unit on memory (UIR memoire) at the Saint Joseph University.
– Ray Jureidini: Associate Professor of Sociology at the Institute for Migration Studies at the Lebanese American University, researching and publishing on various issues concerning migrant domestic workers in Lebanon since 2001.
– Rana Boukarim: Program Director at Anti-Racism Movement and Migrant Community Center.
