Concert for Shatila Project: Youth Choral Al-Turath Al-‘Arabi

The mission of the Choral Al-Turath Al-Arabi, incepted in the fall of 2013, is the revival, preservation and promotion of old Arabic songs. An ever-growing community of vocalists and percussionists, Choral Al-Turath Al-Arabi provides a home-base for Arabic music theory and vocal instruction, practice and performance.

The Choral both receives and provides training, participates in outreach programs at refugee camps, schools and cultural centers, and performs in concerts, festivals and other special events.
