Mayfouk is a Lebanese village in Byblos. It is located 60 Km from Beirut, with altitudes that vary from 800 m to 1100 m.
It is also known as the village of honey, and a honey carnival is organized there every summer. If you wish to buy some of their local produce of fresh honey, you can do so after the hike.
Hiking in this village has a uniqueness. It is rich in historical monuments, wonderful views, and diverse trails.
There will be a two level hike, but both levels will start together, divide along the way, to meet again and divide one last time.
Location: Mayfouk
Date: Sunday, Septempber 28
Meeting Location: In the parking of Sagesse School in Jdeideh, facing the public garden.
Meeting time: 7:30 a.m.
Cost
45,000 LL including transport, guides and insurance.
What to bring:
Light snacks, water, lunch, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear hiking shoes or comfortable walking shoes.
