The Bald & The Beautiful with DJs Fadi Tabbal and Ziad Nawfal at Radio Beirut

On the musical menu for the evening: indie rock, folk and alternative pop.

One of the hardest-working men in Lebanese independent music, Fadi Tabbal established Tunefork Recording Studios in Beirut in 2006. Tabbal’s work as an engineer at Tunefork has secured its reputation as one of the most prominent studios in Beirut.

Ziad Nawfal is the founder of the ground-breaking Beirut-based independent label – Ruptured. He has spent the better part of the last 20 years exposing Lebanon and the world to the special local and regional independent music talent on his long-running radio show – Ruptures, on Radio Liban 96.2 FM.

He started spinning music in local Beiruti bars at the tender age of 18, and has played in the capital’s most renowned venues, from Babylone and Zinc in the 1990’s, to Club Social and The Basement in the 2000’s.

He is currently a resident DJ at Lux Restaurant and Radio Beirut.
