‘Aswaat’ Film Screening at Metro

Metro would like to present the screening of Aswaat (2014), a documentary about the Lebanese alternative music scene.

This is a self-produced project and the first part of a series about music and sounds of the Middle-East aiming at enriching the intercultural dialogue by opening window on the Middle-East societies and artists.
Aswaat in Lebanon follows artists such as Mashrou’ Leila, Zeid Hamdan and The Wanton Bishops, capturing the spirit of daily life in Lebanon through interviews, experimental walks in the Streets and footage of home concerts.

Directed and produced in 2013 but finished in 2014 by Aymeric Cattenoz.
