Lebanon is among the oldest sites of wine production in the world. The Prophet Hosea (780–725 B.C.) is said to have urged his followers to return to Yahweh so that “they will blossom as the vine, and their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.

The event this time will be a wine tour with a special lunch in Keserwan and to visit wineries developed and run by monks in the Metn region. Our first stop will take place at St. John Monastery in Khenchara to visit the museum, taste wine and meet the monks. It’s the home of the oldest printing press in the Middle East. Afterwards we will go to Bzoummar Monastery to visit the winery, taste wine and visit the museum of the Armenian Catholic Clergy Institute established in 1749 and which contains one of the great Armenian manuscript collections in the world, as well as significant holdings of Arabic manuscripts.

Location: Metn – Keserwan – Mount Lebanon.

Meeting Time: 7:00 a.m.
Departure: 7:30 a.m.
Return Time: 6:00 p.m.

Cost
75,000 LL the fees include transportation trip fees, event guide,museum fees, and lunch but doesn’t include the insurance
