Beirut & Beyond is the first independent annual showcase festival in Lebanon that promotes young music talents from the Arab World and beyond.

Created in partnership with the Oslo World Music Festival, Beirut & Beyond is more than a series of concerts. It’s about exceptional musicians, a celebration of diverse musical genres, (folk, acoustic, alternative, jazz, hip hop and much more). It’s about the on-stage, the back-stage, and every stage in between. It’s about workshops, talks and opportunities to network and meet great people who are shaking and reshaping the music scene in Beirut and beyond.

Daniele Camarda
When improvisation and a citizen of the world are combined together, this can only bring curious musical directions from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Born in Sicily, Daniele Camarda relocated to the US, and then traveled extensively, playing with a variety of musicians from all around the world. Daniele blends the many traditions relating to string instruments with modern electronics, a natural attitude toward improvisation that led him to collaborations and work as a sideman in the fields of contemporary jazz, multimedia projects, studio musician for major labels in international projects and solo performer.

Daniele performed with renowned musicians such as George Russell Orchestra, Dave Samuels, Lionel Loueke, Keith Carlock, Shin’ichi Isohata, Jojo Mayer, Bob Moses, John Abercrombie, among many others.
