Biographies
Alec Babahekian, born in 1993, is an AUB computer science student and a classical pianist. He started playing the piano at the age of 16 and focuses on pieces by composers of the Romantic period. Alec is mostly self-taught, with some private lessons. His main interests are works by Liszt, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky.

Arminee H. Choukassizian is an academic who teaches literature courses to seniors who are about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English studies. She was the first Lebanese woman to obtain from AUB a Master of Arts degree in English literature in February 1966. She also has a Master of Philosophy degree in Anglo-Irish literature from Queen Mary College, University of London, and an unfinished PhD dissertation. Arminee writes poetry both in English and French and her first collection entitled Memories and Cities is being printed.

A gifted child, Arminee started playing the piano at the age of six and took part in many recitals. She left the piano completely for over 34 years and then went back to it in 2000.
