“Dunya Al Hakaya” Series Launch by Turning Point Books

Turning Point is incredibly pleased to announce the date for the launch of their brand new “Dunya Al Hakaya” series, which will include the official release of the first two titles in the series: “The Man Who Makes the Cherry Trees Blossom,” and the second title in the series, the Celtic-based tale, “The King’s Guitar.”

The books are beautifully illustrated and perfect for both young and old, and will be available in both hard and soft covers. A signed copy of one of these beautifully illustrated titles would make the perfect gift for the holidays.

Written by preeminent Arabic children’s author Fatima Sharafeddine, illustrated by the award-winning Maya Fidawi and with layout and graphic design done by Sinan Hallak, “Dunya Al Hakaya” is a part of Turning Point’s continuing efforts to encourage not only reading, but multiculturalism as well in children’s literature in the Arab world. These high-quality titles provide an insight into each culture’s traditions and artistic styles, both of which were studied extensively by the team behind the book before production commenced to ensure authenticity.
