‘La Divina – A Tribute to Maria Callas’ at Al Bustan Festival 2015

This year, the festival’s theme is inspiration, and features 300 artists and 22 performances in the genres of: choir, chamber music, orchestra, opera, piano and world music.

“La Divina – A Tribute to Maria Callas,” the festival’s closing night concert, will showcase the solo work of sopranos Valerie Sepe, Anna Kasyan and Elena Xanthoudakis and mezzo soprano Sofio Janelidze. Accompanying the vocalists will be Gianluca Marcian?’s World Orchestra, which will perform overtures from Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” and Bizet’s “Carmen.”
