About Carles Duarte
Carles Duarte was born in Philadelphia in 1959. He is a poet and a linguist, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Consell Nacional de la Cultura i de les Arts (CoNCA, National Council for Culture and Arts).
His numerous books of poetry include Tríptic hebreu (Hebrew triptych, 2002), El silenci (The Silence, 2001), El centre del temps (2003), and Els immortals (2006).
He has also published several fiction novels and collaborated with a great number of artists, painters, sculptors, and photographers.
