About Iskandar Habache
Born in 1962 in Beirut, Iskandar Habache is a writer, a poet and a journalist. Since the mid-eighties he is responsible for the creation of several poetry journals.
He is currently the editor-in-chief of the culture section of the daily newspaper As-Safir. He is a literary critic and a renowned translator of poetry and novels.
He also wrote several poetry works including Portrait rajol min maadin (1988), Nosf touffaha (1993), Tilka al-modon (1997), Achkou al-Kharif – these four were combined under the work titled La amal li bihaza lsamt (2009)], and La chay’ akthar min hathal thalj (2013).
