Kousan Chamber Choir of Hamazkayin will be performing during Fete De La Musique 2015.
About Kousan Chamber Choir
The “Kousan” Chamber Choir of Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society was founded in 1956. At first, it was known by the name of its founder, Parsegh Ganatchian. During 1990’s, Haroutyoun Topigian and Yervant Yerganian conducted the choir. Later on, the choir was conducted by Barkev Taslakian. At present, Krikor Alozian conducts the choir. It has around 30 members. Its repertoire includes Armenian sacred music and choral music of Armenian renowned composers such as Komitas, Yegmalian, and Ganatchian.
