We are all bearers of stories. At any given day, we tell about a dozen stories. And we all have stories that we feel we must absolutely tell. This workshop will help writers find the story that they want to tell through a series of discovery exercises, then guide them through the written process and finally help them prepare and rehearse it to become a piece that can be shared with an audience at a special edition of the popular storytelling night: Cliffhangers.
The goals of this workshop:
– Craft life events into stories
– Find and create a plot
– Revise and edit a story
– Write a story that is fit to be told to an audience
