Reservation for Moukhtara-Haret Jandal Hike with Lebanese Adventure

Discover an amazing trail at the Chouf biosphere reserve. A very beautiful hike that goes from Moukhtara to Haret Jandal on a former mule track with a scenic view through different landscapes : walking along the Barouk river, a walk under the magestic cliff of Amatour, crossing two wooden bridges… A beautiful and breathtaking automn colored hike with various sceneries ..
The trail combines goat path, waterfall, old bridges, old mill and finally a forest track where we end our walk.

The difficulty of this walk lies in the fact that at a certain point, there is no possibility to come out through the cliffs and we will have to de-escalate a few meters, almost slithering..

Hike duration: Five hours
Level: Medium to advanced
Meeting location: At the parking next to the emergency entrance of the “sacré Coeur” hospital Hazmieh.
Meeting time: 7:30 a.m.

What to bring
Walking shoes, back pack, water, light meal (sandwich, dried fruits,..), sunglasses, sun screen, lipstick, hat, wind breaker (K-way).
