Join Nada on Thursday, December 10th starting 12 pm for her first lunch event at ة t-marbouta in Hamra. Nada is Liberian-Lebanese and a great cook of West-African cuisine. She is the author of “The Taste of West Africa” cookbook.
Nada will be serving a range of West-African food for lunch at t-marbouta, who have kindly agreed to support different chefs from the Migrant Community Center- Lebanon by having lunch events in their restaurant in the coming months.

Cold Appetizer:
– Papaya salad: ginger, onion, tomato, green beans, peppers (vegetarian)
Hot Appetizer:
– Akkara – cassava with plantain and onion (vegetarian)
– Roast sweet potatoes with spices (vegetarian)
– Akkara black eyed beans (vegetarian)
– Served with tomato sauce
Main course:
– Peanut butter stew with chicken (not vegetarian)
– OR Peanut butter with beans (vegetarian)
– Served with foufou – mashed fresh cassava
Sweet:
Kanya: rice with peanut butter and sugar

$12 and includes the above formula. Proceeds will go to Nada and to supporting future Migrant Community Center activities.
