Libraries at Night

Friday, Apr 15, 2011

The public libraries of Beirut are opening their doors to the public at unusual hours for a rich cultural program: puppet theater, exhibitions, film shows, readings, guitar concerts, guided visits of the library, lectures, plays, and many more expected or quite unexpected library activities.

The library users and visitors are invited for a trial-visit in eight libraries where they will be free to take part in the cultural activities or simply to discover the treasures of each library: books, magazines, music-CDs, films, internet, new reading devices like IPads and much more.

Special Formula:The activities are all organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Goethe-Institut, French Cultural Center, Instituto Cervantes and ASSABIL.
