13 Things That Prove Lebanese Revolutionaries Truly Are The Greatest
We’ve seen so many wonderful things over the past 40+ days, here are a few:
1. When Tripoli protestors released a patient who was held in the hospital for not being able to pay the full treatment fees.
2. When Dr. Raed Lattouf volunteered to provide Mohammad El Zo3bi with a prosthetic leg.
3. When this cellphone shop owner tracked down the man who was using a lighter in Tripoli and gifted him a brand new Samsung.
4. When the mothers from Chiyah and Ain El Rummeneh took to the streets to stand against all attempts of sectarian divide and intimidation.
5. When Farah Merhi, an adorable young woman, posed with her charred car right after it was burned TWICE.
6. When protestors launched a fundraiser for Farah’s car.
7. When a Lebanese woman forgave the rioters that attacked her in Martyrs’ Square, describing them as one and the same.
8. When Tripoli honored Alaa Abou Fakher and Hussein El Attar with beautiful murals.
9. When a group of volunteers set up Matbakh El Balad, cooking up delicious homey meals and feeding up to 1000 protestors every day
10. When protestors created a public library in Riad El Solh, selling used books for as little as 2,000 L.L.
11. When a crowd of cheering protestors broke into an impromptu baby shark performance to soothe a young child trapped in the car with this mother.
12. When protestors gave out free hair cuts in front of the Central Bank.
13. When this adorable young lady was giving out free hugs in Riad El Solh.
