Post-edit: A previous version of this article referred to Zablit as Carlos Ghosn’s replacement, Ghosn was CEO while Zablit is Secretary General so one does not replace the other.
Lebanese-French engineer Hadi Zablit was chosen to head up the French-Japanese auto alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi as the company’s Secretary General.
The 49-year old engineer comes as a replacement of previous SG Carlos Ghosn, who was arrested in November of 2018 on allegations of false accounting and the misuse of corporate assets.
Zablit started working at Renault in 1994, leaving for a seven year stint at the Boston Consulting Group before returning as the business development chief for Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi three years ago.
