If you love street markets and summer festivals, you can’t miss the one happening this weekend in Achrafieh.
The Saint Basile Stairs Festival is returning for its fourth edition, transforming the beloved stairs in the heart of Achrafieh into a lively open-air market filled with local creativity.
Organized by The Creatives Square in collaboration with Achrafieh 2020 and Comin Insurance, the festival shines a spotlight on Lebanese designers, artists, and makers while encouraging visitors to support local talent.
Taking place from June 12 to 14, from 3 PM to 9 PM, the festival invites visitors to wander one of Achrafieh’s most charming staircases while discovering unique handmade creations. Best of all, entry is completely free.
Throughout the three-day event, dozens of local designers will showcase their latest collections, including fashion pieces, handmade jewelry, accessories, home décor, and other creative finds. You’ll also get the chance to meet artists and painters exhibiting original works inspired by Lebanon’s vibrant creative scene.
And of course, these festivals lure us in with good food, drinks, and live music to keep you entertained while you browse. If you still haven’t properly transitioned into the summer vibe (although our closet and AC settings say otherwise), this is the perfect excuse for a fun day out before the peak heat arrives.
More than just a market, the Saint Basile Stairs Festival has become a celebration of Lebanese creativity and craftsmanship. It’s a chance to discover emerging talents, support local businesses, and experience the community spirit that makes Achrafieh so special.
So gather your friends, take a stroll through the historic stairs, and enjoy three days of art, music, shopping, and great food in one of Beirut’s most picturesque neighborhoods.
