An account on Instagram called @hamoodbot decided to put his game development skills to the test and create a PS1-style horror game set in Beirut, Lebanon.

Happily Never After, developed by NOExpressiON and Hamood, is a surreal adventure game set in a corrupted version of Lebanon (perhaps an even MORE corrupt version than the existing one?).

You play as a man trying to make a difference while holding onto the hope that things can change.

As your actions start to feel increasingly meaningless, strange events unfold around you, forcing you to question what you can actually change.

You’ll get to explore a distorted Lebanon, search for clues, uncover hidden secrets, and piece together what’s really happening as the line between reality and something much stranger starts to blur.

The release date is yet to be announced, but we’re really looking forward to seeing this new version of Beirut.
